The practice of sharing your own content, products, or services on Reddit. Reddit's community-enforced guideline suggests that no more than 10% of your activity should be self-promotional. Marketers who only post their own links without engaging in discussions are quickly flagged as spammers by moderators and users alike, often resulting in bans or shadowbans.
