Without it

The manual way.

  • Open twelve tabs of Reddit search that ignore half your words.
  • Skim threads, mentally tally the real asks, lose count by the fourth sub.
  • Decide on the two threads you remember — usually the two that agreed with you.
With Demand Check

One question.

  • One sentence. Reddibee searches every source and classifies each thread as an ask, a problem, or a mention.
  • A verdict you can trust, a count, five cited threads, and the communities where they cluster.
  • An honest "thin" when the demand is not there — the answer that saves you a weekend.
How it works

One sentence in. A demand verdict out.

Three steps, one request. You never call the tool by name — your agent does.

  1. 1

    Count the asks

Every source is searched for people asking for your idea. Each thread is classified so a rant is not counted as a request.

  2. 2

    Cluster them

The asks are grouped by community, because thirty in one sub is a niche and thirty across twenty subs is noise.

  3. 3

    Read the alternatives

The tools people already reach for come back with counts, so the rejected alternatives become your spec.

Reading the answer

What comes back, and how to read it.

You ask
Is there demand for a self-hosted Calendly? Give me a verdict and the evidence.
You get
Verdict: some demand. 38 asks in 90 days across 6 communities, clustering in r/selfhosted and Hacker News. Cal.com named in 22 threads as too heavy; price is the trigger in a third. Not thin, not a landslide — a real, reachable niche.

An ask is not a mention

"Anyone found a lightweight Calendly?" counts. "I use Calendly" does not. The count is people wanting something, and every item shows the reason it was counted.

Thin is a real answer

Under roughly ten asks in 90 days, spread thin, the verdict says so. Thin does not mean dead — it means Reddit is not the channel, or the pain is not yet named.

Clusters beat totals

Look at where the asks concentrate before you look at the number. A tight cluster is launchable; a wide scatter is background noise.

Where it falls short

Honest limits.

  • Counts are as good as the classification. It is right most of the time and shows its reasoning, but it will occasionally count a rant as an ask. Read the top five yourself.
  • Ninety days is the default window. Older threads are backfilled on demand, so the first check on an obscure niche can take a minute.
  • A "some" verdict is a starting point, not a business case. It tells you the pain is named and where — not the size of the market.
Questions

Asked before the first run.

What counts as demand?

People publicly asking for the thing, with a link to each. It is not market size. It is proof the pain is named and where it is named — the cheapest signal you can get before building.

What if the verdict is thin?

Believe it, then try two other phrasings. People rarely ask for your product by your name for it. If all three are thin, Reddit is not your channel, and you learned that in ten minutes.

Can I check several ideas at once?

Yes. Run the same check for two or three phrasings and compare the verdicts side by side — the comparison is the answer more often than any single number.
