Example

linear.app

6 communities, ranked by fit
2 welcome a launch post

  1. What people ask here

    • Want a lighter Jira for a 4-person team. Everything is either a toy or an enterprise beast.
    • Is there a tracker that does dependencies without a PhD to set up?
    • Keyboard-first issue tracker? Clicking through Asana is killing me.

Tool posts allowed if you disclose you built it and answer questions in the comments.

Without it

The manual way.

  • Guess five subreddits from memory, half of them dead, none checked for rules.
  • Search each one by hand, skim the sidebar, hope the "no self-promo" line does not apply to you.
  • Post into the biggest sub you know and get removed in four minutes.
With Where's My Audience

One question.

  • One URL. Reddibee builds a profile of your product and searches every source for a match.
  • Communities ranked by fit, each with size, activity, and whether a launch post is welcome.
  • Three real asks per community, so you see the exact words your buyers use before you write a line.
How it works

A website URL in. Ranked communities out.

Three steps, one request. You never call the tool by name — your agent does.

  1. 1

    Read the product

One LLM pass turns your landing page into a short profile: what it does, who it is for, and the problems it solves.

  2. 2

    Match communities

That profile is searched across Reddit, Hacker News, X and Product Hunt for the communities where the same problems get discussed.

  3. 3

    Rank and rule-check

Each match comes back with size, posts per day, a promo-tolerance flag, and three sample asks so you can judge fit at a glance.

In your agent

Same tool, one prompt away.

Where's My Audience runs inside Claude Code and any MCP client. Ask in plain words; your agent calls find_communities and comes back with cited sources.

Reading the answer

What comes back, and how to read it.

You ask
Where do users of linear.app hang out? Rank the communities and tell me which allow a launch post.
You get
Six communities ranked by fit, each with member count, posts per day, a promotion rule and three sample asks. Two welcome a launch post, three allow one in a weekly thread, one bans promotion.

Fit beats size

A 12k-member sub full of your exact buyers outranks a 2M-member sub where you are noise. The ranking weights how often your problem is named, not headcount.

Read the promo flag

Welcomed, restricted to a day or a thread, or banned. The flag is a summary; the quoted rule is the truth, and it travels with every community.

The asks are your copy

Three verbatim asks per community show the words people already use. Write your launch post in their language, not your feature list.

Where it falls short

Honest limits.

  • Reddit, Hacker News and X skew technical. If your buyer is a florist, the signal here is thin — that is the source, not your product.
  • The profile comes from your public landing page. A vague page produces a vague profile; the sharper your copy, the sharper the match.
  • X and Product Hunt coverage is still filling in. Reddit and Hacker News are the strongest signals today.
Questions

Asked before the first run.

What do I paste in?

Your product URL, or a competitor’s. Reddibee reads the public page, builds a short profile, and searches from that. No login to your site, no analytics — just the public page.

Does it tell me where I can post?

Yes. Every community comes back with a promo-tolerance flag and the quoted rule, so you know which allow a launch post, which restrict it to a thread, and which ban it.

How many requests is this?

One. A single call returns the ranked communities. Reading the asks or the rules in depth is a follow-up prompt.
