Connect Reddibee to Claude.

Four steps, about two minutes. Works in Claude Code and the Claude desktop app. You need a free Reddibee account.

    Get your API key

    Sign up with email or Google. You land on your dashboard.

    Name the key, click Create key, then Copy key. It starts with rb_live_.

    The key is shown once. Paste it somewhere safe before you close the page.

    Add Reddibee to Claude Code

    Run this in your terminal. Swap in your key first.

    --scope user makes Reddibee work in every project, not just the folder you are in.

    Keep the word Bearer and the space after it. Only replace <your API key>.

    Check it is connected

    Run this in your terminal. You should see ✔ Connected next to reddibee.

    Already inside Claude Code? Type /mcp instead. Open a new session if you added Reddibee while one was running.

    Ask your first question

    Ask in plain words. Claude picks the Reddibee tools and shows each call as it goes.

    Every call shows up in your request log. Free is 10 requests a day.

If it does not work

Common problems, and the fix.

✘ Failed to connect (HTTP 401)
The key was rejected. The header value must be Bearer rb_live_… with one space, and the key must not be revoked. If unsure, make a new key on your dashboard, run claude mcp remove reddibee, then do step 2 again.
Works in one project, missing in another
It was added without --scope user. Run claude mcp remove reddibee, then run the step 2 command again.
Claude app does not show reddibee
Check node -v prints 18 or higher. Check the config file is valid JSON (no trailing commas). Then quit Claude fully and reopen it.
“Daily limit reached”
Free is 10 requests a day and resets at 00:00 UTC. Starter and Pro raise the limit.
